Booking Cancellation Procedure:
“The law stipulates that a transaction for purchasing travel services, lodging, leisure, and entertainment conducted through “remote sales” can be canceled within 14 days from the transaction date or the date of receiving the disclosure form, whichever is later, provided the cancellation date is at least 7 days (not including rest days) before the service is rendered. If the transaction is canceled “at the last minute” – less than 7 days before the service is provided – the right to cancel is as specified in the disclosure form. The cancellation notice must be in writing (it can also be sent via fax or electronic communication). The Consumer Protection Law stipulates that in any “remote sales transaction” โ that is, an order made online or via telephone โ the business must provide a disclosure form including the following details: the business’s name, identification number, address in Israel and abroad, the main characteristics of the goods or services, the price of the goods or services, payment terms applicable to the transaction, and the manner in which the consumer can exercise their right to cancel the transaction.” – Order confirmation.
Cancellation Fees During Regular Seasons (Excluding Holidays):
- In the event of a booking cancellation made by the guest more than 3 days before the stay, the hotel will not charge cancellation fees.
- If the booking is canceled less than 3 days before the stay and up to 24 hours before the stay, the hotel will charge the guest’s credit card (as provided by the guest) a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking value.
- If the booking is canceled less than 24 hours before the stay or in the case of no-show, the hotel will charge the guest’s credit card (as provided by the guest) a cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking value.
Cancellation Fees During Holidays:
- If the booking is canceled more than 7 days before the stay, the hotel will not charge cancellation fees.
- If the booking is canceled less than 7 days before the stay and up to 3 days before the stay, the hotel will charge the guest’s credit card a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total booking value.
- If the booking is canceled less than 3 days before the stay or in the case of no-show, the hotel will charge the guest’s credit card a cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking value.
- A reservations clerk or receptionist is authorized to cancel a reservation less than 3 days and/or on the same day without cancellation fees in cases of hospitalization, death, epidemic, and/or war.
Payment and Credit Policy:
- Payment at the hotel is made only in cash and/or credit card.
- It is prohibited to accept more than โช6,000 in cash. If the transaction amount is more than โช6,000, up to 10% of the transaction amount can be accepted in cash.
- Credit card payments require the physical presence of the payer.
- If payment is made over the phone, a credit card charge form must be sent to the payer, which must be completed, signed, and returned with an ID photo (a form is attached below).
Payments can be made by credit card only, according to the following schedule:
- Up to โช800 – one payment
- Between โช800-โช1500 – two payments
- Over โช1500 – three payments
- Payments beyond three are only by credit (commission in agreement with each customer’s credit card company).
Room Check-In and Check-Out Procedure:
- Room check-in is from 15:00.
- Early check-in between 08:00-10:00 incurs an additional charge of โช150.
- Early check-in between 10:00-13:00 incurs an additional charge of โช100.
- Room check-out on all weekdays is at 11:00.
- Late check-out is subject to approval by the reservations manager and/or reception.
- Late check-out until 14:00 is subject to availability and an additional charge of โช150.
- Late check-out until 18:00 is subject to availability and an additional charge of โช250.
- If a guest pays for early arrival and/or late check-out, the charge should be added to the guest’s folio, a pop-up message should be recorded within the reservation, and the departure time and/or message should be updated within the reservation.
